Branching hammer coral question.

:help: After drip acclimating the coral for an hour how should i get it into the tank? Would just picking it up out of the water and putting it in the tank work? I'm not sure if exposure to air would be detrimental to the coral. Thanks for the help.

It will be fine to pick it up out of the water and placing it in the tank. Be sure when you do that the polyps are hanging down... or fully retracted. The skeleton can be quite sharp and you do not want to damage it at all.
