Here's our new 125 FINALLY set up after months and months of planning. It has been up for 3 days now. Please tell me what you think, remember I am a newbie so let me know if you see something that needs to be changed. Thanks!!!

It's not boring at all and is actually a nice set up. If you want all the rock to become "Live" because I see you seeded live rock with base rock, then I recommend you get some Power Compacts. Other than that everything looks awesome.
Congratulations!

May I ask what Power compacts are? Oh wait are they lights???? Can you tell me a little more about them? Thanks so much for your response!

Lighting help improve color on rock and coral. Even if you will not have any coral you should still go with better lighting. Power compacts are fixtures that put out more watts than regular fluorescent fixtures. On a 125 you would probably get 300 or more watts. Plus not only do they put out more watts of lights they light they put out is stronger then a fluorescent fixture.
Here is a pic of my tank with regular lights and then with PC's and the flourescent.

maybe you can add some of those imitation colorful corals to add a little bit of color . is this going to be a reef tank or fowlr?

I noticed your power strip is on the ground. I mounted mine up higher so that if my sump ever overflowed it wouldn't get water in the power strip. There should be little holes on the back so you can hang them on a screw or something.

Yeah you better mount the power strip. I just hang mine up inside the canopy with a screw. Tank is looking good

Thanks for the advice about the power strip, I will get right on that. The tank will be FOWLR but I know I would like to get better lighting. THis is a 125 72 inches long, exactly what type of lights should I get? I read alot about them on here but I don't understand all the different kinds and the abbreviations. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!

Thanks, the Queen is about 4" to 5" big it's liek a semi agreasive fish but it's beutifull and nice to watch. Mine is "reef safe" at least so far she has been.

Looks real good. make sure that your rock is mushed all the way down to the glass bottom so nothing can dig under and cause a HUGE rock slide.

Ok I have been told if I want my live rock to grow and cover my base rock I will need more than my single strip light that came with the tank. Would the following work for this?
USA orbit PC with 2-96W Sunpaq 2-96W Dual Antinic and 6 Lunar lights??
Would I eventually be able to have any coral with this lighting system?
