Brand new tank but...

I'm setting up my new Oceanic reef ready 72 gallon bowfront. I got the matching stand with the tank. The stands bottom is completly flat.
What is the best way to level a tank with this type of stand? I think its leaning forward a bit(fractional) but still leaning. I read awhile back someone said not to use shims. So what do you go with?

Shims can be used, but the entire cabinet MUST be supported equally.Plus, shims should be between the cabinet and the floor. Not between the cabinet and the tank...So first you should figure out how much the front needs to be raised.Cut a piece of wood to this thickness that will span the entire length of the cabinet. Then you should make shims for the ends that start at the same thickness as this front piece, and taper off to zero at the rear.Place these three shims under the cabinet. This way the entire cabinet is supported evenly, and your tank should be level...
