I set up a 30 gallon fish only tank about 4 months ago. Before I put fish in I let the tank sitffor about 3 weeks, checked levels everything was normal for it still going thru the first cycle. I added damsels as a test, left them in for about a week until my cycle was compete. Took them out then added a pair of clowns, a week later added a coral beauty and fire fish goby. Within the week the clowns had what to seen like ich or velvet, I did a 30% water change, all was well. Then the next day every fish had it. And within two days they all died. I thought it was a parasite I didn't catch in time, did 50% water change waited a week, added another pair of clowns. Same exact thing!!! At that point I removed about 70% water. Waited two weeks added a damsel, and after two weeks of him being perfectly healthy, I added a clown. now this clown has the same thing! I started treating with mela fix, 5 days ago. He's hanging I'm there but will only eat every other day. I don't think he's gonna make it. I have no idea what is going on! I have a very successful 45 gallon with aggressive fish in it which has had zero issues. Is anyone familiar with this?? Please help!!
