QUITE a pretty setup - I love your rockwork.

What are your specs (how big, how old, stocklist, etc)?

Tranquil Scape by far is probably one of the best. Its in arlington across from the General motors plant. There customer service is awesome, and they also have a lot of nice corals. As well as a lot of killer zoanthids. Saltwater Paradise also has a nice selection of corals. It's in Irving on O'Conner. The lfs that is closest to both of us is Pet o Rama it's ok but I find that there dry goods are way over priced. Every once and a while I'll see something really cool in there (coral/fish) that I really want.

Hey I see that 2 of you are from TX. My hubby and I are thinking about leaving CA and moving there. Is Galviston a nice area and how long of a drive would you say it is to get to Huston?

Texas is awesome. I live about 5 hours from Galveston, and have never been there before. Honestly from what I have heard from friends the beaches suck and the town is nasty. However I most recently heard the they really have cleaned it up. From Galveston to Houston it will take you about 45min-1hour depending on traffic. It's strait highway. Houston is a nice city. Lots of traffic though. If you want to be close to the water move to Corpus Christi. It is absolutly beautifull there. In fact I'm going to be going to Texas A&M in Corpus next summer.

Galveston is an armpit... i think people live there because they cant afford to move the hour north to houston, which isnt much better, but it is a step up. the further south you get on the coast, the better. i moved to DFW from San Fran...

As you can see from the pics I'm starting to get a hair algae problem. I think it's because my nitrates are kind of high (20). So I plan on buying a CPR aquafuge and adding some macroalgae to help reduce my trates. Can I add the fuge even though my tank has been up for awhile? Or will it kick start another cycle. I want to put some sand, live rock, and the macroalgea in it and also grow some copopods. Also could I use it as a hatchery for brine shrimp?
