Can I use 2 different brands of salt? I still have some left from my bag, but I will need more and my pet sore is using another brand now. The brand I have left is called CoralLife Salt... and the one she has now is called something like Natural Ocean Salt

Using two different types of salt mix is fine. However, I would not use anything besides ocean pure pro, reef crystal, or instant ocean. These salt are pretty consistant and produce better water parameters.

I use coralife and works great, no issues at all, great salt!
I mostly used it in the begining cause I buy it by the 150g bucket, but once I used it for a while I found it works great, so I stick to coralife now.
Do a search on instant ocean salt and make sure no issues with it before you start using it, thats what i would do.
It does make a difference what type of salt you get, do your homework.
I remember seeing some posts about having issues with IO, but I have never used it, I have not had a reason to switch to anything else, coralife works great.
Hope this helps!
