ahh! I looked at my tank this morning, and my live rock mountain was moving!
Not like..moving around the tank. it shifted. I looked all over for the source, until i found *this* guy at the base.

I don't know if i'm just going crazy, or this is a freaking breathing rock. My mother said it *must* be a clam that glued itself onto the rock...I know the picture isn't great, but with a shoddy camera and underwater, its a bit difficult. Oh, and it also closes and opens its mouth. Thats the weird thing.
So, here we go.
This flap you see (i circled it in green) i believe is his mouth. There a long, stretchy film of skin going all the way of his front, and i think its his lips/mouth. They're outlined in red. He has some red, fleshy algae type stuff on him that i've been meaning to remove, but its my little neighbors great entertainment and i couldn't dare do that to him.
Also, it has a flower on him. Not that important, but if anyone can see clearly, any idea what it is? The main problem, even if no one knows what he is, do i feed him DT's by baster?

Epic paint skills. blue arrow is pointing to his flower. Eyes are required.
I <3 the orange nose there. I didn't draw that, either. Sorry about the pictures, they wouldn't shrink.

It is indeed some sort of bivalve. I wouldn't worry about feeding it. You definitely don't need to squirt phyto directly on it
