I was thinking of making a brine shrimp hatchery to feed my lionfish but i had an idea that i am not sure if it can work.. I wanted to add a timer to the feeder and some how (using an actuator) (spelling) lift the nob on a commerial "hang on" hatchery automatically... has anyone ever thought about this, seen this, or used this? I could just be an idiot and this will not work out but I wanted a way to feed my lion when i go home for winter break with out relying on a friend....

How long is your winter break? A lion would have no problems not eating for a week or two if worst came to worst. You could also just get a friend to drop a few mollies or something in once a week just to keep the lion sustainable. Only the smallest lions will eat live brine, especially if its kept in a tank with other fish which would get the shrimp first.
