Brine Shrimp Have No Nutritional Value

My LFS recomended frozen baby brine shrimp to feed my fish.
My firefish, clownfish, wrasse, and peppermint shrimp have been eating the baby brine shrimp for 2 months and are fine.
I have observed the wrasse eating copepods but the clown & firefish have only ate the baby brine shrimp (as far as I can tell).
If in fact the frozen baby brine shrimp does not have any nutritional value(or very little)
then I need to have some choice words with the employees at my LFS.
What else should I feed?
Only the peppermint shrimp will touch pellets(so will the firefish on rare occasions).

baby brine are better than normal brine. But frozen I am unsure. Baby brine shrimp have a sac attached to them from incubation and it is nutritious. Atleast from what I understand. So, maybe baby brine shrimp frozen still has this sac.

the only time even baby brine is somewhat nutritous is after it has been guttloaded(fed ultra vit)then fed right away.its no more cost effective than buying prepared foods already nutritious for them
firefish, clownfish, wrasse, and peppermint shrimp
i would do I would do the pellets(covers all type of fish)Thera+A(by spectrum)
and formula 1 and emerald entrese
if you want to get a litte extra meaty for your wrasse ans shrimp add some chopped squid or phlankton.cyclopseze

The issue is not feeding these, it is ONLY feeding these. Diversity is key in any diet, and the LFS wasn't really wrong in suggesting that. As mentioned, the "baby" brine is relatively more nutritious than adult and it is a great treat or part of a diverse diet. Just not as part of an exclusive diet.
But nutritional issues are usually chronic problems, not something that appears really short term.

Try some frozen mysis shrimp (better for them) I have a few of the same fish and I give it to them as well as flake and pellet. They all love it. I have had them over 3 years now this past January.

Pretty much anything will eat formula 1 or 2 flakes. Convenient, healthy, and readily accepted.

None of my fish will eat flakes (with or without garlic) and only the firefish will eat the pellets on rare occasions.
I guess I'll try the Mysis Shrimp.

you have omnivores(meaty and veggie foods needed) you should find a food with a combination of both ot make up a mixture of different foods with both.fish will not get everything they require nutrition wise from one type of food alone.it would be like us eating one thing only say steak for example yep its good for you but your not going to eat just steak 3 times a day.or one veggie(for the vegitarians)you have to aquire nutrients from many different food groups per day to acheive a nutritional daliy diet requirements same applies for healthy fish if we done eat properly we get ill and likewise for your fish. this doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out ,just good ol common sense

Do you have any LR? If you do, or have live sand, then I would say odds are it is eating other things, and the brine is a supplement.
