I have been looking at my tank after the lights went out. I see about 300 or so what I belive to be anthipods. I only see a few brissle worms. I remember when I had crushed coral in my fish only tank the thing was loaded with brissle worms. I have a sand bed consisting of about 90% silica sand. Could the densly packed sand be the culprit for the lack of common brissle worms? Do they lay eggs in the sand? I have yet to see any brissle worms digging in the sand.
