Bristle Worm and another Q?

Okay, I just got about 3 pounds of live rock from the LFS today and so far I've found 2 or 3 things. I cant take pics at the moment but If i can I will post some tomorrow.
I have found 2 bristle worms, one i saw coming out of my sand crawling into a TINY hole in the rock, looked about 4-5 inches. It was greenish and maybe had some orange. The other one is about 1/2 inch long and VERY VERY fast, looks like it is red with a white stripe down its back, could that be one of the bad Fire worms?
The other thing I have found looks like a feather duster top coming out of the rock (no tube that I can see, but maybe its in the rock) It just swaying in the current, but its pure white so I was concerned that maybe it might be something else. The whole head is maybe 1/4 inch in diameter, very tiny.
Please do your best without pics, should I be concerned about any of these creatures?
Also the one rock has a whole colony of worm tubes but I haven't seen any heads coming out, maybe they need more time, is there any way to see if they are alive or not?

Take a look at the next bristleworm thread here. I have posted a pic of the red and white bristleworms that are good.

Bristle worms are fine, unless you end up with a ton of them in your tank. They eat detritus. Without pics it's hard to say whether one is a bristle and one is a fire, but my bet is that they're both bristles.
I almost always get hitchhiker worms in my rock and for the most part welcome them. I love when I get feather dusters!
Just keep an eye on the for the next few days and if you can post pics, that will help a ton!

Yeah I guess it could look like that, its just so darn tiny. I only saw it because i was repositioning the rock and it was on the bottom. It quickly disappeared into a pinhole.

Last time I saw these guys, the big one was at least 6" shrunk and at 12" stretched out. They are harmless, unless you try to catch them with your fingers. Cranberry has a great picture of the results.

Okay got another one, and I checked this forum to see if it was on here. It looks like a single tentacle (very thin, not like an anemone) sticking out of the rock about an inch. It is white and seems to have little balls along the edge. It's too small for a pic, I took a few and it wasnt visible even on the highest resolution. I'm doubting it's a baddie, just kinda interested to know what it is.
Thanks for any advice.
