Bristle Worm Reproduction?????

We have had our 55 gal tank for a year.
We have over 35 lbs of LR and 55 lbs of LS. I have noticed a Bristle Worm about 4 inches long. Then there are smaller ones like 1-2 inches. Then I have noticed little tiny ones. The size of the pods. How many is to many? How do they reproduce? How many babies do they have? I'm a little worried because I have seen 4 of them. I killed a little one with the magnet cleaner and the cleaner shrimp eat it...lol
I have a Arrow Crab, he doesn't do anything. I thought they were suppose to eat Bristle Worms.
Thanks,
Tracy

They are not bad critters to have. And if you seen 4---I bet you got 5 times or more that you haven't seen. They are good for the sandbed and cleanup, not to worry. An arrow will eat some of them, you just may not see it (at night). Is your tank reef? If so, you may want to reconsider the arrow.
How do they reproduce? How many babies do they have?
not sure.

Get yourself a sixline wrasse....he will keep the population in check without eating all of them. I have also seen my cleaner shrimp eating a brissle worm. Lesley
