Bristle worm stage??

in my sump today, i found what i thought was a zoo polyp... was sorta odd so i figured i'd put it into a little rubble pile to see if it would attach without glue.
all of a sudden, it started moving around and grew a snout...
i had a bristle worm wrapped around it when i found it, which i thought was eating the zoo polyp. the head looked to have sorta tentacles around it, is this a breeding stage for the bristleworms?

it looks like a peanut worm to me.

that would be interesting... i've no clue how it would have gotten into the sump/refuge, but would be pretty cool if it is.

i only put dried rubble rock into the fuge, but who knows, maybe something from the tank floated down to the fuge. coolness
