I have never heard a six line wrass eating bristle worms. I also never heard of a brislte worm growing back after it was ripped in half. It dosn't mean it's not true. Arrow crabs eat bristle worms.
I waisted my money on 1 of those traps. Never caught a bristle worm. I heard you can get a glass jar, put food in it(ghost shrimp; dead)put the jar on a slight angle against a rock, and leave it there a couple of nights. See what happens! Its basiclly the same thing as 1 of those $13 traps. If you are going to try this cut down on your feeding.

I have heard good things about the arrow crab remedy, but I am biased I like to see nature work it's wonders. Yes the pantyhose trick works, becasue the worms get their bristles stuck and cannot free theselves. Also teh only worm that I can think of that is able to regenerate, is the flatworm family. This is due to a ladder type circulatory and nervous system. I do not believe that the bristle worms are built the same way. But if you want to be adventourous try an experiment. If you do catch some bristle worms, remove a few with tweezers and put them in a hospital tank or glass jar. Put in some of you water from the aquarium and float the jar in your aquarium( be careful as it does not tip, reintroducing the worms, a coathanger works but not a copper one!. The reason you need to float it if you do not have a hospital tank is for temp stability. After about a few days catch the specimens and slice them in 1/2 with a razor, and put them back in the HR tank/jar. If they regrow then we will know the answer.
If that sounds ludicrous to most of you and you do not care, that is cool too. If I ever receive a bristle worm prob I will d it myself and post the results.
Later for now, the mad scientist....

Why would you want to have something eat your worms. IF you have a fish die in the middle of the night, bristle worms will very well be the things that save your tank from an ammonia spike. I have the all over my tanks. Longest one is about 8", moved hime to the fuge on my 90g.
