It depends. If it seems like you have a lot of them and/or they're very large, it might be a sign you're overfeeding your tank. For the most part, they actually benefit the tank by eating the leftover food and waste from the other tank critters. They can pick clean a dead fish/invert in a matter of hours. If it really bugs you to have them in the tank, just pick 'em out with a pair of tweezers.
