I have bristle worms and i know alittle bit about them but not much. Some people say there fine and some people they could be harmful, which i agree with both. My question is when do i know they are becoming a problem? what signs are there thata i need to look for? How did they get in my tank? How can i prevent them? Im happy with any feed back that anybody knows about bristle worm.

Bristle worms are beneficial scavengers. They came in on your live rock. If you have a ton of detritus and leftover food then they will breed like crazy. If you don't over feed then your population will be fine. They are great to have.

Yes +1. But as a story , when i was working so so so much my wife tryed the best she could to take care of the tank she made the mistake of over feeding too , and before i redid my tank there was so many of them all over the rocks were popping out with worms ,so what i did was use tweezers and pulled alot out ,now i just see some here or there and it looks like its under control again ,but thats just what i did, I'm not to sure if this is what i should have done but i read it somewhere.
