bristleworms

We just purchased our live rock for our tank. It is well cured, but we do see some bristleworms. Are these a problem? (other than avoiding contact)
Also, our temperature began to rise after we added the rock. What could be going on here? It was stable before.
Thanks,
Katie

I guess if the rock came out of a tank that was 4-5 degrees higher and wasn't out long,it could have retained the heat, but it would come right back down. That's a puzzler. As far as bristle worms,if you have a DSB they are great. They can't navigate through CC as well though. Good Luck

Leave them in. They wont hurt. However 1 out of 10,000 species of bristlworm is bad and most likely very rare to get ahold of.

Thanks for all the info. We saw a few and they are pink/red, but they are hard to spot.
