Brittle Star, Good or Bad?

I've been thinking about adding a brittle star to my 55 gal. Are they any good or do the mess things up? Any info would be great about these? Thanks also any info on boxer crabs?

brittle stars are usually great additions, the only one to be wary of is the green brittle star as it may eat fish if hungry enough, but that is the only known predatory brittle star.

Yeah, stay away from the greens. I think that serpent stars or even "super stars" are pretty neat and great additions.
I'm not too sure about boxer crabs. Since many people don't buy them or talk about them, you need to do a little more research. If you want some crabs, get some reef janitors... blue and red leg hermit crabs. They do a great job cleaning and eating stuff.

They seem to be the hardiest stars from what I've read: I'll be adding one once my tank is up and running for a few months more and the water is solid and stable (stars are very sensitive to water conditions). Keep in mind that you'll want lots of rockwork for it to hide in, and you won't see too much of it during the day: they like to hide under a rock and grab things with their tentacles mostly, only coming out on rare occasions at night.
I read a story about how the green ones will hide upside down in a cave and then drop down on a fish. Gulp!
