brittle star identification

Maybe this is a better place to post this thread... Ill let the moderators decide.
I found this little guy which made a nice addition to my nano. Ever since I put him in it, he has been cruising around the tanks showing himself off. It came as a hitchhiker on some coral. I tried to google and see where it might be from but found nothing. I wish the coral were out for the photo but I had to take the photo before work today and the lights had not turned on yet. I was sent here from a different forum because I hear there is a sea star expert here... ophiura?

Looks like Ophiomastix variabilis, Elegant Brittle Star.
Here is a picture of one from animal library.

They're from the Indo-Pacific Ocean and are usually in protected reef areas. They feed upon organic matter/detritus. They're rarely seen in the trade and are usually misidentified. They're not safely kept with encrusting invertibrates and need plenty of green matter. I found this info after doing some searching. Sounds like you have a special starfish there. Hope this information helps!
