I recently got a brittle star with an invert package I purchased. I have read that the blue star is the only reef safe starfish. Any feedback on the brittle star? Thanks.

any brittle or serpent star is completely reef safe and every tank should have one to clean up detritus in the tank. blue stars are the only "true" stars as we know them that can really be recommended for a reef tank.
