Brittle Star

Im a bit new to stars... but my Tank has been running for a few years now. (40 breeder display, 40 breeder refuge), about 100 lbs of live rock total to help support a mandarin. Im looking at restocking my CUC, and looking at the "30-90 gallon reef package" on here. My concern and question are about the brittle star... will it eat any of the life in the sand, more specifically... will he eat any of the pods in the tank? Are there any other concerns i not thinking of?
Thanks!
Neil

To my understanding it's the green brittle stars that are problems.
So go get a couple..personaly I like the serpent stars. The serpent and brittle eat the dead and the uneaten food trapped in the rocks, and not going to hurt the pod population.
