it depends on how they were raised. what peers they had, where they went to school....even the tv shows they watched.

Seriously, no, not typically. They are generally reef safe. They eat waste so they are good for cleaning up, but don't expect to see them much. They stay hid in the rocks most all day and come out at night.

I have a green brittle star and it is docile. It will not come out during the day (unless it's feeding time) but is active at night. The star has left all my fish alone and has since I got it about 3 months ago. That may be due to me spot feeding it twice a week.

Id be really careful with the mean greens. Maybe feed it some silversides or whole frozen fish.
