brittle...

I have been doing some reading lately, a lot of reading actually. I, too, have a hole in my brittle star. None of my other fish are affected, in fact, they seem to be doing great. The brittle is my profile pic, so as you can see, the hole is rather large. I was here Friday, and this hole was not here, when I came home Sunday, however, it was already pretty large. Is there any saving him?

do you have a qt tank??
you may be able to use some kind of wide spectrum antibiotic in a QT.. but not sure how sensitive he would be to it...

I do not, but my friend's parents own a pet/fish store. They said I can take it there, and they will put it in a hospital tank. I just can't get there until tomorrow, and I don't really see how they can get it back to health. Worth a shot, I love this star.
