i just got a pair of true perculas today..not sure if they are wild caught or not....but one of them which i noticed did not eat today..but the other did...anyways he has a long thin white strand coming out of his anus...But his colors are fine and no other symptoms are showing....Are these syptoms of Brooklynella? Hes currently in a 10 gallon hospital tank with the other percula and a firefish...If it is Brooklynella, are the firefish and the other percula infected? Do i have to do formalin dips on all 3 of them? Can you teach me how to do formalin dips?
How does the life cycle of Brooklynella work? Wont it still be swimmin around the qt tank and still be alive if i dont treat the whole tank. Can i perform hypo as well as formalin dips on all these fishes? Will hypo kill Brooklynella? Thanks. Please help i dont want them to die! Thanks

should i treat the whole tank? Is the disease spreadable to the other 2 fishes? Do you recommend maracyn two or nitrofurzone? How do you go about treating them with these antibotics(I assumed)? Is this disease deadly? Thanks again.
