I had a Clown get sick and die on me before I could fix it. How long does it stay in the tank until it no longer contagious? No ither fish in the tank as we speak. I did have a bi color blenny in there but is now in another home but, do they get this disease?
what fish can get this disease? I plan on adding two clowns my main tank in the uture with a Blue face angel. Can he get it?

Brooklynella can stay in the display for a month. It is a wild caught clown fish disease. It is parasite that infects their thick slime coat. Introduce the new clowns into the QT for a month and all will be fine. Be sure to have formalin on hand if you plan on having clowns. Brook kills quickly, as you have seen.

Brooklynella is a parasite and is known to effect all fish except Sharks and rays. However clownfish are the most prone to get it. Just get some Tank raised clowns and QT them and you should be fine.
O yeah I forgot

hahahaha. Gorgeous! Im getting my pair soon enough buddy! It will be a few months. I just finished up my sump and letting everything dry for a couple days. Then im going to test run it. Then buy some sand and Rock and let the cycle begin! My Angels will be first then the clowns then my last fish I have no idea. I was thinking Majestic Foxface
