(broomer5) skimmer box 1/8" thick

Another question for the go to guy. The local hardware store sells acrylic at 1/8" thick. Is this thick enough to form a skimmer box. Also, what should I use for glue. The plans were emailed to me and they are a copy from lifereef.com Thanks

Guess it depends on how big a skimmer box you are planning to build. I just measured the thickness on my acrylic overflows, and it looks like the manufacturer used 3/16" thickness.
I've purchased my overflows - never worked too much with acrylic - so I'm asking other's here to help you with the acrylic glue.
I know some of our members have build DIY acrylic overflows / sumps, so best to turn over to them for advise.
