I have brown algae forming on my lr.Running Smartlight 6-8hrs a day is this the cause.Water temp 80 or is this the cause.70gal fowlr w/d sand base uv.Can not get temp to fall lower ???
Diatoms is part of the cycle in new tanks and it will go away eventually,I just could'nt remember.I did this 10 yrs ago so everything is coming back now.Turbo snails will eat this also.
