My newly cycled tank a 75 is getting a lot of brown algae I heard they are called diatoms how can you get rid of them and would an algae killer at the lfs kill the coralline
IMO don't get an algae killer...Diatoms is normal for a newly cycled tank. Be sure you have good water flow---don't overfeed---don't keep lights on for long periods---and do 10% weekly water changes.
Also a good clean up crew helps alot. It will go away.
