brown algae

there is brown algae on my sand and rocks.. should I be worried about this? how do I get rid of it?

how old is the tank?...if it is fairly new..don't worry. It is most likely diatoms..and it will pass. Just keep doing your water changes, use RO water if possible... and watch not to overfeed...trust me..the brown goes away.
