How long does the brown algae stage of starting a new tank last?
randolph Member Oct 10, 2002 #2 i had what i thought was brown algae and a bunch of it. then came the mex turbo snails added 2 and no i mean no brown algae left. i think 1 for 55 gal is enough though, i'm worried there is not enough for them to eat now.
