brown algea in ls?????????

Any ideas on controling brown algea growing on my LS all perameters are good and day lights are on about 6 hours a day the tank has only been back up and running for about 1 month now, or do i just need to be pacient.

Brown algea bloom in a new tank is normal.
Get some hermits and/or snails, they will help.
Keep up with your normal maintenance schedule (water changes, glass cleaning, etc...)
Most of all, just be patient.

thanks for the reply i have hermits and 2 mexican snails I went through this but not as bad when i first set the tank up (dont know if you saw my post about the dish soap) i kind of figured i needed to be patient though thanks again for the reply.

You can also try some cerith snails. They will clean you sand as well

sounds like diatoms to me. very common in a new tank, and they will go away with time.
