My tank cycled about amonth ago. I did a water change 50%. Gradually add a six, line, couple snails and a sps in the last four week. Last week, I had a huge brown algea, I changed water again (20g). Only a week later brown algea start to show up again. I realized a couple of my snails haven't had any movement for about 4 days.. I only feed my fish once every two or three days. How do I solve brown algea problem. I think I will do another water change today. Is there such thing too much calcuim. Is my algea problem occured due to over feeding of chemicals?

First, never
dose for anything you don't have a test for. Iodine becomes poison if it is too high. Regular water changes mean you don't need to dose.
50% is too much, in the future. do no more than 30% unless you have majer problems like ammonia spikes.
Last, brown algae blooms are very normal in new systems. It is time for a clean up crew (CUC). Hermit crabs love to eat brown algae. Look to the left of this page under reef packages and under your tank size for an idea of what you need for your reef.
Happy Reefing!
