Brown blotch on green chromis? Tank is cycling...

Hi all! I am in the middle ( ammonia spiking ) of my tank cycle and have three little green chromis in there now. One of them has developed this brown/orange spot above his fin...just the one spot and it's a little smaller than a pencil eraser. I was hoping you all might be able to help me diagnose?? Does this sound familiar? I apologize for asking so many silly questions but since I am still waiting on my books in the mail...this is my best source of information right now...Thanks for all your help!!

Well, it's grown a bit now and it's definitely brown, it looks like a growth right above the dorsal fin, just outside of the gill...? Any ideas? He seems to be feeling fine, swimming, eating, breathing normal. My ammonia has spiked and starting coming down slowly. Nitrite is spiking right now...I was hoping someone might have some suggestions? Freshwater dip? Do you think it might go away on it's own? Anyone had this type of problem?
