Brown Coralline - I'm told?

This brown algea has started taking over some of my LR. I have
been told that it is a form of brown coralline. It does grow in circular patches, we have a large circle on the back wall in the photo.
It grows across the rocks just like coralline, has a slight slimy feel, and
does not scrape off easily. As it progresses, it grows off the rock.
I thought it might be a form of kelp, but I don't know.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it??

If you can borrow someones tang for a week, that'd do it
. My tang made quick work of 80% of it after putting him in the system. It is a macro, not related to coraline, but can get out of hand. It is very easy to remove manually as well. Not sure if a combtooth blenny of any kind would do it. I've seen my hermits on the stuff but can't verify that they're eating it.

I have a Blue Hippo Tang, Foxface and Lawnmower blenny, but none of these
guys have anything to do with it.
