I figured i would repost this with a different viewpoint. The tang is eating fairly well but has pale color. I have copper safe in the water at the correct level and i just did a water change. (Am=0; pH=8.2; nitrate=0.5;nitrite=0) He is in the QT tank alone. The hair like things are very small but cover all of his body including the fins. This is the third day that they are present. Does anyone know what they might be or how to get rid of them? Trey said that they might be burrowing copepods...if so, are they really going to just go away or should i take further action. What about Formalin or a freshwater bath. Thanks for any help.
