brown jelly infection?

i moved my colt coral today and saw it had a spot about half the size of a dime near the bottem of it.It was filled full of a tannish brown substance.So i syphoned it out and it had eaten away a hole into the coral.Is this brown jelly infection?if so should i syphon if it returns and keep it in an area of high flow?any help would be appreciated,thanks

if it helps it almost looked like detritus.It easily flaked off and sucked off without a problem.Hopefully someone can chime in here soon
