ive had my tank setup for about 3 months and all of a sudden on the sand and live rocks there is a brownish mosslike film starting to cover it.
can anyone tell me what it is and what caused it and if its bad or good.
Could be diatoms which could be caused from not perfect water quality as well as lack of water movement. Make sure there is enough movement in the tank and check those param's
