i have a 50 gallon, with a picasso trigger, and a yellow tang, at night, i always notice the tang gets brown on its sides, i dont think it is being harrased by the picasso because he is in between rocks sleeping. i feed the tang flakes and algae chips. the picasso and them get along fine! is this normal? do they do it when they sleep?

This is normal in many fish I have 2 (3) stripe damsels that turn totally grey at bedtime. I've also seen this in other tangs as well as triggers. So nothing to worry about! Good Luck!

I'm glad you asked and they answered!! That would have freaked me out if I'd seen that in my favorite fish!
