Brown spots on the sand

Started getting brown spots on the sand in my 2 week old 29 gal tank... good sign??

Hi are they brown spots like diatoms[new cycle algea] or is it in a place were there is no water circulation?? dead spots, were water is not moved by circulation, if its diatoms it will go away in time, or you can stir it but it will come back. good circulation is always a benifit, were I have the most in our reef ,thats were the most new coraline is growing on our rock. and yes this is a good sign that your tank is starting to cycle, watch your tank readings, and I donot suggest any water changes until cycle compleats, as this will only prolong it. cya

My 29 gal has an eclipse hood, so circulation is only coming from there... As I look at the bottom, I don't believe it's completely stagnant... I'll look right under where the water pours in...

If you could I would add a small power head at the bottom in the back, this will give you good circulation,,cya
