I just set up a 125gal with 700 watts of VHO lighting. I am getting many brown algea spots on the sides and even more on the bottom. (Don't have the sand in yet, comes tomorrow) I also put one piece of live rock in the tank from my 55 gallon to get the cycle started and that too is covered in this brown algea. I used a Kent RO unit to fill the tank. Is all of this normal? Thanks in advance!
