Brown strings from zoos?

I have a small frag of orangish zoos and i find that about every 2-3 days they have long brown strings coming out of the centers of the polyps. Its really ugly, but ive yet to touch it. Does anyone know what this is? Maybe waste excretion?

Are you kidding? I thought it was algae. I never heard of a coral pooping...

Worse yet my eyes are bad and I thought it was aiptasia and used Joes juice on it. It is always in one spot on my zoa, yucky brown "strings"
