Brown Stuff In My Tank???

dunno what this stuff is, its kinda gathering, growing? in a back corner of my tank... did ammonia check earlier today and it was at 0... any ideas?

does it look kinda like dirt? could be diatoms. Do you use tap water?

yeah i used tap water...... how do i get rid of that? more snails?

If it's diatom on your substrate and rocks, then hermit crabs will eat it. If it's on your glass, the snails should get it.

all i got is 8 mexican turbo snails..... gotta pick up some hermits! lol

If it is diatoms it will subside in time.

you should switch from tap water to RO water.

you dont need to go out and buy one, you can but dont have to. You could just start using RO water that you can get from most LFS and do water changes with it and you should be good.
