Brown weed looking type stuff

I have a bunch of brown looking weed stuff in my tank. Someone said its apanasia?? Not sure if I spelt it right. It looks like polyps, but small brown with tentacles... like unwanted corals that are ugly..
How do I get rid of it???
It seems to be growing all over.. any medicine to get rid of it? What is it?
as soon as you poke it, it goes in and comes back out later..

sounds like aiptasia. joes juice migth work. hot boiling water in a syringe might work too. natural method like peppermint shrimps would work too.

I think thats it.. how does it form? does it cause harm?

either pick them off and put them on a frag rock and sell them to someone with something that eats them or use joes juice. and yeah joes juice osunds bad but it's just a chemical =P

it can sting corals i think. they spread fast. and they are gnerally ugly ot most people btu i keep one in a 2.5 gallon as a pet =P
they form from just being hitch hikers.
