Brownish dust everywhere

Okay my tanks been up and running for over a year now but I have been adding live rock slowly the past month. Now from nowhere I have brownish dust looking stuff on my sand and glass. What the heck is this stuff? I use ro/di water only so it couldn't be diatoms, could it? I've only been adding l/r about 2 pds every other week. The only thing I've fed the tank is cyclopeeze, frozen & very small amounts at that. There's only 2 fish, green chromis & a half black damsel. One star fish, red fromia, one cleaner shrimp, 2 ricordia polyps and one frilly leather (I think that's what it is) 2 turbo snails and 4 margarita snails & one blue legged hermit. Any thoughts? All my parameters are in perfect order. The only thing I add is liquid gold pro plus by coral life and marine max for beneficial bacteria & vitamens about twice a week for both. Thanks in advance.

Almost every time I added my rock I would have a large amount of diatoms on my sand, so I would say yes it's brobally diatoms.

Thanks to both of you. I will be getting more cleaners shortly. I guess it's not harmful, just ugly huh!
Again...thanks,

Gravel vac weekly for 3-4 weeks will do the trick. Maybe any 10% of water change and U should have 1 clean tank.
