Brownish/ Green Algae

What do i do about brownish green algae bordering on black that is all over my tank. I changed 25% of my water recently and it came back in 3 or 4 days. Do I have lighting problem or a water problem? the algae is slimy and it comes off "in sheets" off the glass. tank has been running for almost 2 years without the problem and then one of the lights blew out and on came the algae? What do I do?

i had a simuler problem i have only had my reef up and running for 9 months but this is what worked for me used a turkey baster and blew out the holes on the live rock several times a day untill i did not get any more dirt from them .brushed all the algae off glass and rock i put sponge fillters on the power heads cleaned all sponges after blowing cut back on feeding ,cut back on lights mh. 8hrs.pc.9hrs put refugium lights on 24/7 this worked for me good luck
