Are circulator pumps in the brute thats used for water storage a must or just for mixing salt?

Honestly I don't think so, but I go through enough water in a week to fill a brute at least once so the water doesn't sit in there long.
If it's gonna sit in there a while, you may consider one, but I've never found it necessary.

I keep one in the sw can, but not the fw can, but I also go thru a can or two a week, so it's not sitting around collecting dust anyway.

Sounds good. I plan on doing a water change every week. But if i do get lazy i have a pump to put in there. Just didn't know if i should leave it running all the time. Thanks guys.
