BTA dead?

How would you know if a bta is dead? Mine isnt fully open and to me it loooks dead. :notsure:

When its dead, its dead. You'll know...your whole room that its in will wreak and you'll have mush all over your tank. What are your water paramters? How much lighting do you have? How long have you had it? There is obviously a reason that its not doing well...

i think that sometimes the guts will also come out of it

ya boy do those things stink. just think of when you first got your rocks, (if you got them from online) and you open up the package and your like i cant believe i paid that much for this ----,
yup thats what it will smell like. if you have a glas top open the lid and take a nice sniff
