I have 2 bubble anenomes and they seem to do that if they don't have enough light and if they are eating they will do this. Did it attach to anything? If its still attached I woudn't worry.

how did you get your watts per gallon, and you can use windows paint. And you can resize it. The program in is your start menu under accessories.

Ok Littlebuck Is this your little guy doing this. About what time of day is he doing this? Lights on?, lights off? did you just dose the tank with anything?
Actually I've seen this before, mine do it occationally. not sure why. I'll ad a pic of mine doing pretty much the same thing.

:notsure: Only other time I've seen them close up like this is after lights out, or when they get directly nailed with alkalinity additives.

Yes i just got done feeding, Lights were on, And after a couple hours he started to open back up and had a chunk of something inside of him like he was eating so i take it thats what happens when they are eating. I just have never seen him do that which to me was a little weird. But i think its doing fine now lights are not on yet so hes kinda shrunk up anyways but what do you think it is? Was it do to me moving him at all? or was it something that he ate the messed him up? Thanks for your help

Wel if you take i have a 29 gallon tank and have 300 watts of light that works out to be like 10.34 watts per gallon. I believe that is how its working. Trust me you can see it down the street at night and all my neighbors have asked what the hell it is LOL.

When they close up like in the first pic thomas shown... they usually are trying to squeeze out a big turd.
Anemones shrink up quite often... you should be ready for that kinda thing to happen because it happens all the time :)
I have a BTA that is around 18 inches long and he is very hard to miss in my small tank... but sometimes he shrivels up into a little ball of gross thats only around 3-4 inches long.. its normal.
