i got this bta from swf.com 2 weeks ago.....he doesnt show signs of distress, he is fully inflating, the clownfish snuggles him
his tentacles just aren't sticky, ive had a couple anemone back in the day, but they were always sticky
is he still in shock from the shipment?

and how long did they live? if they were never sticky, how did you feed them?
my chem specs are
NH3 0
NO2 0
NO3 0-5, i doubt that trace amount would cause any harm
the clown doesnt take him any food either, i guess ill wait for him to color up a bit, he's still a lil whitish from previous ownership/shipment

Has the anemone moved at all in those 2 weeks? Many anemones will become less sticky (sometimes) when they are about to move.
You should also be worried about calcium and alkalinity, so I suggest you test for those as well.
You can also try target feeding with a turkey baster. What have you been trying to feed it?

yes he has moved a couple times. he has been in the current spot for a week now and still is not sticky. i tried feeding freeze dried krill, the tentacles just shrivel when i touch it to them
hmm, i never considered calcium or alk.....but ive never tested for those and dont have a test. SG is a little high at 1.029
would it catch food if i used a turkey baster? he's not sticky, lol

Try thawing a cube of mysis shrimp or frozen plankton and see what happens.
Calcium and alkalinity are going to be important as well as pH.
