bta progress and questions

bta progress.
not long ago i posted a thread about my concerns that my bta was unhealthy. it was white in colour te tenticles were stringy and it jus looked crap. after establishing that my problem could be water flow i thought, why not jus move the rock that my anenome is on higher in my tank and closer to were the water from filter enters the tank. so i done it, and i thought if my bta dosnt like it he will jus move , but instead, it seems that after discovering that there was a stronger water movement there, he moved even further up and is now settled to the back glass of my tank. now my bta is a more healthier pinky brown colour and there has been a difference in the thickness of its tenticles. the bubble tips still havnt returned which does still have me thinkin wether or not it actually is a bta. bear with me and ill put some pics up of what it looks like now as soon as possible. but until then i got some questions?
-could it actualy be that my bta didnt settle into a place in my tank that was the best for it?
-is there anything else that i could do to revive my bta even more?
-ive heard that feeding it more regularly for a while could be good for it, is that true? i currently feed it 2 times a week.

Lighting (in part) is the most concern here. As a photosynthetic creature it needs the light such as VHO,T5 or PC. This will help keep the zooxanthellae alive on which the anemone gets nutrients from.
Water flow is also important to help bring it other nutrients and to wash waste away. Figure out how many times per hour your water turns over by adding up the flow of the pumps vs. your water volumn.
Feeding a BTA can be necessary or not at all really depending on lighting and available food in the water column. It certainly does not hurt to feed it twice per week.
Examine your lighting
- your turnover rate
- your water chemistry
In my case having 940 watts of lighting, feeding does not seem to be a concern for me.
